How we back up a recommendation
Every care recommendation we publish comes with a range and the reasoning behind it, scoped to your tank size. We don't hand out a bare number we can't stand behind. Every listing also carries a provenance record back through its lineage, which is the kind of discipline a big, volume-driven vendor can't easily copy.

Husbandry and survivorship data is hard to come by in this hobby. Publishing ours costs us nothing, so we do.

Captive propagation, ark-node framing
Every colony grown out here is both a sellable frag and a banked genotype. Captive propagation displaces demand for wild-collected coral: the more of the catalog that comes from our own broodstock, the less pressure on wild reefs.
All stony corals are CITES Appendix II. As trade rules tighten around wild harvest, documented, aquacultured stock only gets more valuable. We'd rather be regulated than not, as long as we stay on the right side of the line and can prove it.
